Late 1800’s to early 1900’s antique Shantou metal Teapot and Tea Caddy. The Chinese Eastern coast city of Shantou, known for tea caddies and teapots with these glass covered panels. The most rare would have reverse painted glass but given that we can see some separation between image and glass, these appear to have lithographs inserted depicting various scenes. The pieces are likely made of pewter that have been bronzed.
