This piece was made in the early 1990s in the Valencia factory (555) in America. At that time in the 90s, it was sold by Levi’s Japan as a reproduction of the Levi’s 501XX. The American-made 501s from that era are highly sought after, and the reproductions of Valencia denim from that time are also becoming scarce. There is no inner tag. This piece has a great vintage feel with excellent color fading and distressing, typical of Golden Size denim. It has clean vertical fades, damages, and repairs, which add to its vintage charm.
